Are permanent holiday lights the same as permanent Christmas lights?
Yes. Permanent holiday lights, permanent Christmas lights, permanent outdoor lighting, and trim lights are all names for the same thing: LED lights in a color-matched track that stay on your home year-round. You choose the colors for Christmas, Halloween, game day, or a simple warm white.
What areas of Utah do you serve?
We install across the Wasatch Front: Utah County, Salt Lake County, Davis County, and Weber County. That includes Provo, Orem, Lehi, Salt Lake City, Sandy, Layton, Ogden, and the cities in between.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on your roofline footage and home complexity. Most residential installs range from $2,500 to $6,000. We provide a free, no-obligation estimate so you know the exact cost upfront.
Can you see the lights during the day?
Barely. The aluminum track is color-matched to your trim, and the lights sit flush inside it. Most visitors can't tell there's a lighting system at all.
Will my HOA have a problem with this?
Most HOAs approve our installation because it's clean, low-profile, and looks like part of the home's trim. We can provide documentation for your HOA and help you through the approval process.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are done in a single day. Larger or more complex rooflines may take two. We'll give you a realistic timeline during your free estimate.
What if a light burns out?
Individual lights can be replaced without removing the whole system. The LEDs are rated for 40,000+ hours, about 15 years of normal use.
What is the warranty?
A 20-year manufacturer's warranty on parts and a 5-year workmanship warranty on our labor. If anything fails under normal use within those windows, we fix it at no charge.
Can I control the lights when I'm away from home?
Yes. The app works anywhere you have a phone signal, so you can change colors, adjust schedules, or turn the lights on and off from anywhere.
Does it work with smart home systems?
Yes. The system works with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and other smart home platforms.
How many colors can the lights display?
Any color, plus any shade of white from warm to cool, and 100+ preset patterns.
Will it damage my roof or gutters?
No. The track mounts under your eaves and does not require drilling into your roof, fascia, or gutters.
